Ana and Pedro chose Lisbon’s waterfront for their engagement session. Our walk began at the Belém Ferry Terminal, taking us past the iconic Electricity Museum and the MAAT, and finally concluding at the historic Belém Tower.
Ana and Pedro are a lovely and charming couple, yet naturally reserved. Initially, there were some jitters, with both feeling a bit uneasy. After our pre-shoot briefing, explaining the flow of an engagement session in Lisbon, they began to relax effortlessly.
It happens every time!
Both are software developers who met at the office, where Cupid decided to intervene.
Stay True to Yourselves
We talked at length about how to incorporate their passion for rock and metal into the classic elegance of the Pestana Palace in Lisbon.
My advice was simple: It’s your day. Be authentic, stay true to yourselves, and it will be perfect.
On the wedding day, Pedro entered the ceremony with his mother to AC/DC’s “Back in Black.” As I walked past him, I whispered: “Good call on the music!” He joked back: “It’s your fault! You told me to be myself!” 🙂
For her entrance, Ana chose the hauntingly beautiful “My Immortal” by Evanescence. Metallica ballads provided the soundtrack for the rest of the ceremony.
It just goes to show: be careful what you suggest to your couples; they might just take you literally! 🙂
Now, without further ado, here is Ana and Pedro’s Lisbon engagement session.
